B and I will be celebrating the US Thanksgiving this coming weekend (we didn’t have time to celebrate last week). Canadian Thanksgiving is generally spent with my family. I rarely get an opportunity to cook. So last year I decided to start a tradition of preparing dinner to celebrate the US Thanksgiving. It seemed appropriate because B is American.
I’ve picked out a turkey, but want to try something different this year. Last year, I made:
- Rosemary roasted turkey
- Candied sweet potatoes
- Garlic peas
- Spinach salad with dried cranberries, almonds, and raspberry vinaigrette
Do you have any suggestions as to what I can make for this year’s US Thanksgiving dinner?
