Day 26: Spices

I had trouble choosing just one favourite. Here are a selection of dried spices from my cupboard:

Top row: paprika, Adobo all purpose seasoning, seasoned salt, sage leaves, rosemary leaves, Italian seasoning

Bottom row: white pepper, cayenne pepper, cumin, thyme, red chilis, chives

    I like to stay clear of the mixed seasonings because they often contain an enormous amount of salt. Cumin has to be one of my favourites too.

    • I usually try to steer clear of them as well, but I keep my favourites around for nights that I need a quick meal (and try to balance it by not adding any more salt to the meal).
